USBC: A Champion of Minority Business Development
The USBC recently received 2 high recognition awards in honor of its leadership in Black Business Development.
The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Awarded USBC President Ron Busby with the Advocate of the Year Award
"We're honored to recognize this dynamic group of individuals who have dedicated themselves and their resources to ensuring the advancement of the minority business community," said Alejandra Y. Castillo, MBDA National Director. "Their contributions are essential to creating an ecosystem that supports, develops and elevates U.S. minority business enterprises now and in the future."
The MED Week awards celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of minority entrepreneurs based on challenges overcome, total revenue, jobs created, and the economic impact.

The Rhode Island Black Business Association (RIBBA) is dedicated to enhancing the growth and economic empowerment of Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals by providing them a forum to competitively participate in the local and global economy, primarily through business development, legislative advocacy, business mentoring and quality educational opportunities and professional development resources. This year during RIBBA’s Annual Gala, USBC President Ron Busby provided opening remarks and was awarded with the Outstanding Leadership Award.
