As we bring Black History Month to a close, we are reminded that our history is full of trailblazers and pioneers that fought to build our community from the ground up, and we must fight even harder to do our part to sustain our community.

 

 

 Black History Month Highlights 

As we bring Black History Month to a close, we are reminded that our history is full of trailblazers and pioneers that fought to build our community from the ground up, and we must fight even harder to do our part to sustain our community. The economic backbone of our community is entrepreneurship; to this day Black business owners are the fastest growing population of entrepreneurs. In order to sustain the growth of Black-owed businesses, we must aggressively and intentionally patronize Black-owned businesses. 
 
We encourage you to do your part to contribute to the economic development of the Black community. We are overly proud of our Bank-Black initiative which focuses on providing much needed funding to Black entrepreneurs and individuals. We are humbled by the advocacy support we've received from Black entrepreneurs, advocates, and chamber leaders during Black History Month. In closing we'd like to give thanks and highlight a few of our supporters.
