Washington, DC- Following the FCC Chairman's endorsement of the T-Mobile/Sprint merger, USBC President Ron Busby released the following statement:
"T-Mobile and Sprint have made substantial commitments to close the digital divide and advance the U.S.'s leadership in 5G. This comes as great news, as Black entrepreneurs continue to be the fastest growing population of entrepreneurs during a time of mass innovation. 5G will fuel our nation's Black innovators, and small business owners across the board.
T-Mobile and Sprint have guaranteed that 90% of Americans would have access to mobile broadband service at speeds of at least 100 Mbps and 99% of Americans would have access to speeds of at least 50 Mbps. This is a win for laptop entrepreneurs, virtual business owners; and American ingenuity," says USBC President Ron Busby.
