As we bring Black History Month to a close, we are reminded that our history is full of trailblazers and pioneers that fought to build our community from the ground up, and we must fight even harder to do our part to sustain our community.

Ron Busby captivated the audience Wednesday night in the Silver Spring Civic Center as he told the story of how he grew his father's cleaning company from $150,000 in annual revenue, to $15 million, over 10 years.

Black History is full of trailblazers and pioneers that fought to build the Black community from the ground up, we will not let them down. We're doing our part to support the economic development of the Black community through our Bank-Black credit card initiative, which was specifically created to help Black entrepreneurs obtain much needed capital.

The USBC's Bank-Black Card is gaining waves of support from Black business experts and advocates including celebrity actress Kim Fields, basketball icon Lisa Leslie, finance expert Bill Cunningham, and most recently Van Jones. USBC President Ron Busby released the following statement:
